Benjamin Izmajlov, a born Slovenian, is one of the successful musicians of his generation. He has accomplished himself as a concert violinist with more than 40 concerts per year and as an artistic director/producer of various successful music projects that cross borders and connect nations and cultures. He is also a composer, arranger and conductor of symphonic music and has many years of experience in sound engineering and studio producing.
"Songs of my home" represents some of the most important Slovenian songs in our history. Dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of the country's Independence and as a wish to preserve Slovenian music heritage for the next generations.Benjamin is the author, producer and record producer. He is also the composer-arranger, field recording engineer, conductor (choirs) and violin solo performer.
The recording of the Album involved more than 140 musicians, from top musicians and world class recording engineers and mastering professionals to children choir as well as many kind people that made this project possible.
The album is composed of 15 Slovenian songs, newly rewritten for voice, instrumental soloists, symphonic orchestra and choir.
The album was premiered on 10th September at Ljubljana's most prestigious open-air summer concert place - Ljubljana's Križanke. The symphonic orchestra of the Slovenian soloists under the leadership of Benjamin Izmajlov along with all the other album performers enchanted the audience which exploded with standing ovations and words of gratitude at the end.

The first slavic cross-over symphonic project was launched in 2006, featuring the unique mezzosoprano Manca Izmajlova. Recorded with the legendary Russian State Cinema Orchestra under the leadership of Sergei Skripka, the album was sold in Platinum and was performed in many European capitals. Recently it was performed at Cairo Opera House with the Cairo Symphony Orchestra where Benjamin Izmajlov conducted.
Celebrating different cultures through music. The first Diplomatic Concert in 2015 was dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of the 2nd World War. The second one in 2016 under the patronage of the President of Slovenia, MP and the Minister of foreign affairs of Slovenia, more then fourty Ambassadors, honorary consuls and other public figures attended the event where Benjamin conducted the Chamber orchestra of Slovenian soloists along with many internationally acknowledged artists.
The INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY GIUSEPPE TARTINI is directed and founded by Benjamin. It takes place in Piran, a splendid ventian city in Slovenia and the birthplace of the legendary violinist / composer Giuseppe Tartini. Apart from the top level masterclasses for talented young musicians, open air opera performances were held in front of thousands of people. Verdi's Requiem (2015), La Boheme (2014, 2015) and Traviata (2013) were put on stage, starring young opera artists and instrumentalists.
